Logitech Pure-Fi Express Portable Stereo Speakers for ipod
This is a near perfect nightstand sound system. With just one lighted dial/button on the box (volume/on-off), and a six-button remote, it could hardly be simpler, just the thing by the bed. The sound is excellent for a small box, with clear mid-range, decent highs, and a respectable, though non-head banging, bass. Just don’t expect it to fill a large room with studio-quality sound. For under 0, it’s really quite nice, and small enough to be truly portable.
My ipod touch 2nd Gen. works just fine. The Pure-Fi charges it, and the remote gives basic control. The Pandora Radio app plays flawlessly, as well as stored albums. Altogether, quality and price, the best little player I’ve seen. My one and only caveat is the lack of support behind the ipod. The jack itself is all you get.
Still, I’ll stick with Five Stars.
